Four Marketing Fashion Company Headquarters London

Four Marketing Fashion Company Headquarters London

The practice was appointed to design the new headquarters of Four Marketing, one of the contemporary fashion industry’s most innovative distributors and retailers.

The 20,000 square foot building, a 1920’s factory off Old Street in Shoreditch, London, has been entirely remodelled. The ground floor has been organised to provide reception and gallery area, administrative space and meeting rooms. The lower ground floor houses the design studios for the Fake London and Oki-Ni labels with a café opening onto an external courtyard. The upper two floors provide showroom space for presenting garment collections to buyers each season.

The interior has been designed to retain the spirit of the building’s industrial past contrasting this with contemporary lighting, screens and finishes allowing a flexible use of the open spaces. Interventions to the exterior of the building include new ground level glazing and entrance, lift tower and translucent glazing of the principal stair on the street frontage. At roof level a new glazed extension has planning consent and will form part of the next phase of works providing additional office and meeting space allowing panoramic views of the City skyline.
